What you’ve watched is a Doodle automatically choosing to focus on his handler (me) after watching a squirrel climb a tree.

I didn’t prompt him to do anything.

I was waiting for a choice.

If he made the choice I wanted, I reinforced it.

Which I did, using praise.

Mainly because I forgot to bring treats.
